Informative tool

Informative tool refers to the use of various technologies such as computers, the internet, digital media, software and telecommunication system to collect, store, process, share and communicate information. These tools can be in various forms including written materials like textbooks and articles, visuals aids such as graphs and charts, multimedia resources like videos and interactive software. 

Informative tools are used in teaching and learning to enhance students' understanding and make the learning more engaging and effective through use of textbooks, charts, videos diagrams and power point presentations to explain concepts clearly and provide real-life examples. Visual learners can learn from charts and images, while auditory learners gain more from videos and recorded lectures. 

Informative tools are important because they help make learning more effective, engaging and accessible. They provide clear and organized information that supports students in understanding new concepts and gaining knowledge. It also encourage active participation, promote curiosity and help students retain information better, develop skills such as observation, analysis and critical thinking, making them valuable resources in both classroom and self-directed learning.

PowerPoint presentation is powerful and effective tool for teaching and learning.  As an informative tool, it helps break down complex topics into manageable slides, making it easier for audiences to follow and understand key points. The structured format of slides with headings, bullet points and visuals helps me organize my thoughts and retain information more effectively. For instance, when learning new concepts, the logical flow of presentation ensures that i grasp foundational ideas before moving on to more advanced ideas.

In teaching and learning, PowerPoint acts as bridge between teacher and student. Teachers can use it to present information clearly, incorporating multimedia elements like images, charts and videos to enhance engagement. As a learner, i appreciate when presentations are visually appealing and concise as this keeps me focused and reinforces my understanding. The use of bold text or highlighted keywords emphasizes important takeaways which i often note for later review. For example, the "preposition" presentation shows how PowerPoint simplifies complex ideas, making learners to gain information easily through the helps of images.

My experience with learning from PowerPoint presentation has been largely positive. I often revisit the slides to understand better. 

As a future teacher, i can use PowerPoint as an informative tool to make my lessons more engaging, organized and easy to understand. By using bullet points, images, charts and videos can help students grasp concepts more effectively and i can also animations and transitions to highlight important ideas to make the content more interactive. Moreover, PowerPoint helps me to plan and structure my lessons in a logical flow, making it easier for students to gain information.

Visiting the Takin Preserve in Motithang was a meaningful and interesting experience. It is more than just a tourist spot, it is a living classroom that teaches about Bhutan's unique wildlife, especially the national animal, the Takin. The preserve is well-maintained, peaceful and surrounded by tall pine trees making it a peaceful place to learn in a calm and natural setting.

One of the most interesting parts of the visit was learning about the Takin's features and story. The animal looks unusual with the face of a goat and the body of a cow. According to local legend, it was created by the famous saint Lama Drukpa Kuenley. This mix of science and culture makes learning fun and memorable. I also saw how the Takins move slowly, live in groups and eat grass and leaves. Caretakers in the preserve provide them with food and make sure they are safe and healthy. This teaches visitors the importance of animal care and conservation.

The preserve is not just home to the Takin but also has other animals like deer. Seeing these animals up close helped me better understand their behavior and needs. The information boards along the walking path were helpful and the quiet surroundings allowed us to observe the animals without disturbing them.

The Takin Preserve plays an important role in educating both locals and tourists about the value of protecting endangered species and respecting nature. It encourages us to care for the environment and learn about Bhutan's rich wildlife and culture. As a future teacher, I believe such places are helpful for students to connect with real-life learning outside the classroom.

The Takin Preserve is truly an informative tool that combines education, culture and conservation in one place. It leaves visitors with not just memories but also knowledge and a deeper respect for nature.
